He has a special interest in prosthodontics and a ample experience in fixed and removable prosthesis. In 2004 he received his doctorate for a study on infection control in dentistry. He pays special attention to calming nervous patients so that they can relax during dental treatments. To keep up to date with current techniques and developments Olaf attends regular courses and lectures around the UK and overseas.

foreign languages: German		 Verena graduated in 2000 in Freiburg, Germany and has since then gained more and more interest in holistic dentistry. Within her ten years of professional expertise Verena always keeps herself up to date on national and international standard in dentistry and holistic dentistry. In 2007 Verena received the diploma in Chinese body- and Earacupuncture at the European Academy for Ear- and Body Acupuncture in cooperation with the Nanjing University, Beijing, China. Two years later Verena received the Diploma in Dental Hypnotherapy at the British Medical Society for Hypnotherapy, Glasgow. The main focus in her newly opened dental practice, Oldmachar Dental Care, is to provide dentistry according to the patient's needs under the aspect of biocompatibility and maximum achievable quality and comfort for the patient. Her special interest is to ease anxious and phobic patients and to guide them to regain their confidence and belief in healthy teeth.
